Catholic Chinese Community Melbourne

Established in 1985, the Catholic Chinese Community of Melbourne has grown from a small Cantonese community gathering once a year into a 500 family community having its own chaplain and weekly masses in Cantonese and Mandarin. Today we are based in Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Church in Surrey Hills, sharing the same church with the local parish.

The demographic of our community consists of immigrants from Hong Kong and mainland China. We actively participate in events held by the Archdiocese of Melbourne, as well as connecting with the local community. We have 11 groups catering for all ages and interests, as well as many bible sharing groups held at various locations throughout the week. Our youth group is a mix of local and overseas students and have activities running several times a month.
